Your Birthstone & What it Means

Birthstones are a fun way to begin learning about the study of gemology. History has left us with thousands of years worth of legends, beliefs, and magical ideas about what different stones might mean, represent, and what they can attract to the person who wears them!

While some months have multiple birthstones, we at Harry K have identified the most popular one for each month and researched the qualities that are believed to be associated with them.

Find yours below!

January / Garnet: this stone is said to bring a level of higher thinking and self empowerment to the one who wears it. It is a gem of strength and safety that encourages gratitude, attracts prosperity, and delivers service to others.

March / Aquamarine: The name “aquamarine” means “water of the sea” and refers to the sparkling ocean-like color of this stone. This gem brings the wearer the peace and tranquility of the ocean. It is said to calm, soothe, cleanse and inspire to let go and trust the universe.

April / White Topaz: The April birthstone brings the energies of inspiration, peace, hope, and love. It can give you a self-confidence boost and also help you grow as a person! Back in ancient times, Romans believed White Topaz to be the stone of the Sun God, Helios, and it was thought to improve eye sight!
